Members event Join Mark Henshaw, curator of the exhibition, for a walk-through and discussion of
some of the greatest artists and graphic designers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Followed by light refreshments in the Members' Lounge.
Exhibition opens This landmark exhibition draws almost exclusively from the vast
Australasian print collection of the National Gallery of Australia. Included in the exhibition will be prints by John Lewin, the first printed in the colony, to works by more contemporary artists such as Margaret Preston, Noel Counihan, Bea Maddock,
John Brack, Brett Whiteley, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists including Dorothy Napangardi and Dennis Nona. Special access tour Special access tour with
voluntary guides for people with disabilities and their carers.
Friday 30 March – Sunday 1 April Keynote speaker eX de Medici. Artists, art critics and curators present papers on printmaking in Australia and the
region. Coinciding with the major exhibition The story of Australian printmaking 1801–2005.
