Hi Sandra,
 
Indeed some good extra work. I would be confident that "the bird most often struck is a hawk" the "hawk" most often included in that tally is sure to be the Black Kite. There are close to 100 either individually identified species of either birds or bats or less specific categories such as Unidentified duck, Unidentified duck, Unidentified cuckoo-shrike, etc. included in the summaries in my report.
