Hi All

For the last four or five days pre-dawn between lyons and Curtin (north of Scotsdale Street) making "a helluva noise"
has been what a friend insists is a Whistling Owl. He is prepared to accept an owl that whistles.
Can someone tell me what it is, please and thus remove the need for me to rise at Four and drive across this fair city.
If it is even half as noisy as he claims every one in Lyons must have heard it.

His imitation ( a drawn out repeated whistle) doesn't sound to me like a Koel.
