A family of Tawny frogmouths have been apparent in our garden for a few days now (and on and off for a few months) - currently the two adults and two fluffy chicks are on low casuarinas branches in our back yard (they have also been just above the public footpath on Boobialla Street). Some interesting calls - very loud & sharp throatclearing/coughing from adults, and wheezing from the young, as well as the usual ooh, oooh, oooh.
cheers
Barbara
