A very late comment to Stuart's message (Janette and I were in Tasmania for
a couple of weeks): had on 21. Jan. 04 on the same trail 1 female Red-capped
Robin feeding 1 fledgling. So this species appears to feel quite at home at
this location. In your photo the female also has an insect in its bill. Food
for itself or for its brood? Stuart, seems worthwhile to me to check the
site out again.
