7 Superbs flying low over my place in Gungahlin almost scraping the roof as
they headed northeast to Goorooyarroo Reserve at 7.30am this morning. They
seem to come from the direction of Mulanggari Grassland Reserve. This is my
third sighting in just over a week.

27 Oct - 5 birds
30 Oct - 2 birds
7 Nov - 7 birds

There seems to be a regular route being followed here - they fly from the
grasslands in Mulanggari in a NNE direction, cross Flemington Rd, approach
our house which is situated on the highest point of a small hill, make a
slight deviation to the east and then continue flying NE downslope over
houses, over Horse Park Drive and to Goorooyarro Woodland Reserve.

I wonder if this has been a historical route and if so will all the
continued development in the area stop them in the future.

Cheers
Marnix
