On a magnificent farm dam this morning, on a property I was working on near Williamsdale, a male MD and three females, two of which had one and two chicks respectively. (I think that makes sense...) Also a White-necked Heron.

(Unfortunately I was surveying the thistle/cow pat paddocks.)
