Subject: NIGHT ROGAINE - 16 SEPTEMBER 2006

ACT Rogaining is running a 5 hour event in the Canberra Nature Park on Saturday 16 September 6 - 11pm. The Mulligan's/Goorooyaroo course is conveniently located on the northern fringe of Canberra. It is a mix of open grassland and woodlands. There are several large steep hills providing relief of 160 metres.Tracks and fences are plentiful and marked on a new 1:20000 A3 map. Orienteering details (rocks, termite mounds etc.) have been deleted. The map contrasts two very different areas, one that will be navigationally interesting and the other a more physical challenge. For more information and entry form, go to http://act.rogaine.asn.au/EVENTS/06night/ or phone Benita Sommerville on 6206 4952 (work), 0438 690 820.
