Golly. Thank you so much for pointing this out.  If I had known this
was available ....  Fantastic!  

I have looked at the website maybe 50 times and never come across the
database.   I guess it is easy for old hands to know things so
well that they don't point them out to newbies, and I do think the
database (if that is the correct term) should be more prominent and
accessible on the website.  As far as I can see the only entrance to
it is through "Birds of Canberra Gardens" on the front page,
then "The birds".  While this might be obvious to those
who understand that "Birds of Canberra Gardens" refers to the
survey, to me it was just a heading about garden birds that I never
clicked on since I sadly don't have a garden and I didn't want to rub it
in.  

The database answers 80% of my ever-increasing questions! I appreciate
the work involved by whoever collected the calls and the pics, and put
the database together.  It is a great resource, but
especially for newbies.  We beginners need to know
about it.  

Sorry if I have been thick and missed some obvious direction to it, but
... I didn't see it before.

If there is none already, I will volunteer to collate an FAQ for the
website, to give answers to the "where can I find ..."
questions and any other questions that a beginner  might
ask.   I know I would probably have saved a lot of people a lot
of time if such a thing existed, but then again it probably does and I
haven't found it.
