I remember reading a couple of weeks ago about the apparent dearth of Crescent HEs this winter (the thread was actually specific to the ANBG).

Having only moved into our new house in Hawker last October, we are still adding to our garden bird list - the latest addition being the female Crescent HE that moved through the bushes down the fenceline this morning.

Not a 'hanging out the washing' bird - actually a 'doing the washing up' bird!
