Today at Commonwealth Park I watched a begging juvenile New Holland Honeyeater. It was very vocal and pretty easy to view in bushes in the car park nearest Anzac Parade. There were also some 4 adult birds around in the flowering Grevillea. All my records of dependent young NHHE in Canberra are from August. Has anyone else noticed the large number of dragonflies around today? Cheers Marnix
