One prominent nest in the willows to the north of
the ponds was being attended to by an Australian Raven in late June. I
watched it bring sticks to the nest three times and to spend some minutes each
time in the nest presumably building or extending it.
On the same day, I saw two Whistling Kites to the
west of Kellys Swamp and a light phase Little Eagle patrolling to the south of
the ponds, including right over the car park.
