Believe it or not it does work, I use it quite
regularly it saves pishing about. With a bit of practice you can get a
few different calls from it, ie. chuck, chirp and even a cheep besides the very
basic twittering squeak used by the pusher and pisher people. It's
good for calling most of the small bird inhabitants, esp the
W.B.Scrubwren, in scrub areas . Puting a tea spoon tea spoon of
sugar into a table spoon, and crushing the sugar into a powder will
soon put the squeak back into caller. If your a smoker a drop of ash is
good temp solution, or resin pulled off a branch. It is much more
successfull during the breeding season.
