Seen amongst the Superb Fairy-Wrens and Silvereyes bathing in a waterbowl in
my Giralang garden today was a single Red-browed Finch, the first time I've
seen one visit the garden. After having a wash it sat in the sun on a bare
branch of a fig tree, preening. One of the joys of winter in the Bush
Capital.
