Hi all,

Some odd obs from today:

1. A pair of Whistling Kites building a nest at the Fyshwick Sewage Ponds. Watched them for a while from the Kellys car park. The nest is in the largest tree between in the middle of the ponds (probably between ponds 3 and 4 according to the map on the COG website). Both birds were carrying sticks to the new construction. A Little Eagle was chased off from the tree towards Kellys.

2. At ANBG, Pink Robin still in sections 2 and 3, with 10 or so Brown Gerygones. At one stage the robin was very close, perched in the sun, with the gerygones hovering around her in the same view in the bins.

3. Lots of White-naped Honeyeaters at ANBG, and a couple of Yellow-faced Honeyeaters in Scullin.

Cheers
Anthony
