Went looking for Peter's Rose Robin today at lunchtime. Did not see or hear it but did spend 15 minutes watching a male Olive Whistler (in company with 2 Yellow Robins)foraging in the shrubs between the Eucalypt lawn and the Sydney region gully. Was alerted to its presence initially by a single explosive call which was the only one it made in the time observed. |
