Nice work Marnix! The gerygones were still in the
area at about 3.30, about 50 metres over the Warrina Inlet bridge, near
where there are a couple of brown bench seats just off to the right of the bike
path. As with Marnix's observation they were in the middle of a biggish mob of
small birds, mainly pardalotes and silvereyes, and I suspect this is the easiest
way of locating them. I found the calls were quite difficult to pick up until I
was reasonably close, although they were certainly calling a lot.
