I walked up Mt McDonald this morning. It was a perfect day for it. Not too many birds but I did watch a brown falcon for some time as well as a poor boobook being harassed by magpies. Also flame and scarlet robins, a congregation of 20+ wattlebirds, and 3 white-naped honeyeaters journeying east. There was also a half-asleep fox catching rays and what may have been two wallaroos.
