Adam saw Musks in Chapman, see below. He is a reliable source having kept many parrot species, including lorikeets. He has 3 lorikeet species now.

“I saw a group of about 4 Musk Lorikeets feeding in Eucalypts on Chapman Oval on Monday morning. The small stand of trees where they were feeding is home to a group of Noisy Miners & they were most upset at the Lorikeets presence. They trying to chase the Musks away but the Musks were just ignoring them.

….Well, I watched them for about 10 minutes. They were right up in the canopy & when they were separated (either side of the tree) they kept on constant contact with each other by calling. They weren't worried at all by the Noisy Miners, even when they were getting swooped by them & at one stage I even saw a Musk run along the branch & chase off a Miner.”
