Yesterday morning a literate little Lucifer popped out of the ether.
 
It landed on my keyboard and typed out the following which appeared in Letters to the editor, Canberra Times, this morning. For those of you who haven't read your favourite paper today (Tsk! Tsk!) here goes:
 
Turkeys V Eagles
 
Jerry Olsen's comments about the impact of a proposed damn on the Molonglo River on local birds of prey (Letters, March 16) causes me to conclude that it's difficult to preserve the habitat of eagles when you have to contend with turkeys in the planning department.
