At 6:30pm this evening, I saw about six Fork-tailed Swifts feeding over Blamey Square, Russell. I only had a brief view (sans binoculars) before they dropped behind the buildings; I saw them a few minutes later in the distance, heading towards Duntroon. My first Fork-tailed Swifts for the ACT. -- -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Paul Taylor Veni, vidi, tici - I came, I saw, I ticked. *******************************************************************************************************This is the email announcement and discussion list of the Canberra Ornithologists Group.
