A pair of YTBCs alighted on a Pinus canariensis in my backyard this evening.  They are the first I have recorded for my GBS chart this year (ie recording year, since July 2005).  I also heard some, but did not see them, somewhere over Lake Burley Griffin near the Yarralumla Yacht Club about 0900 this morning.  This is not far from my home and may have been the same pair.

Are they still being seen commonly around Canberra?  I can't remember recent postings.
