Re: Koels and Superb Parrots I think the consensus was that most have
gone, though surely some are around but as to the probability of finding them on
a short trip, who knows. As for Spotted Turtle-Dove, well I
visited Maria Lukacs on Monday (6-2-06)and they are there and she says have been
regularly recently at her place at Hazlewood Street Queanbeyan. They have been
there at various times over the last few years. Just check out the house rooves
and the powerlines.
