Note that there also appears to be a
resident Pied Cormorant on Lake Tuggeranong, which I've been seeing regularly
over the past month.  On Sunday I saw this bird in Isabella Pond but
have also seen it a number of times at the overflow area (that runs into
Tuggeranong Creek) at Athllon Drive, near the skate park.

Ian , Tony, and I walked around the main
lake at Tuggeranong Sat morning.
We saw two young coots. They were with different
parent birds and were about half size (in volume).
The only other interesting observation was
the total lack of Grey Teal on the lake.
