Its not just bird watching
I draw your attention to the problems facing the Geelong Photography Club.
There is an article, which can be found by searching ' Photography,
Geelong, Club' on the on the ABC home page. The article tells of the troubles of
a photographer who was caught photographing the Shell Oil Refinery. For goodnes
sake the refinery is visible from many places in Geelong.
I also heard via that very reliable source, the 'grape vine', that an middle aged lady was caught up in an
anti terrorist raid as the local community radio, from where she was
hosting a gardening program, had been sited as promoting terrorist
propaganda.
Although we are innocent birdwatchers it seems we unfortunately live
in interesting times.
