All birdwatchers know that bird hides are splendid places to have
conversations about magnification. In addition, just about any time someone
appears with a new digital camera or a new pair of binoculars is a time to
have a conversation about magnification. Generally, so far as I am
concerned, these all tend to be the same conversation, although some are
fuller than others. Therefore, to save time, I am putting my side of the
conversation into the attachment. This is only my side of the conversation,
and does not represent everything useful that might be said on the matter.
