In the little pre-quiz, the answers were
indeed -
Male Superb Fairy-wren (Michael Wright was more specific but
less delicate)
Southern Whiteface
Female Brown Goshawk
Mark Clayton, Anthony Overs, and Benj W would all qualify to
help Santa next year but unfortunately Santa has lost his main job due to
too much bird-watching and not enough projecting the spirit of
Christmas'
 The speling error was of course 'wotsit' instead of
'whatsit'
Young Bob Rusk of Hobart says that Six White Tasmanian Devils
pull Santa's sleigh on his Tasmanian Run, but unfortunately that wasn't one of
this year's questions, Bob.
