 I think that you are right with the wirra wirra sound on the second Koel, but I'm sure  "On the first  Koel  the Angels did say"

On reading all the communications about night calls - seemingly unwelcome too - I realise I am probably hearing a Koel too in the still of the Torrens night.   At a distance which I thought was not good but I am now revising that idea.   It is a two note call about an octave apart - low to  high.  Does that sound right?
