The second male koel call in the list is the typical call. The other two are examples of the wirra-wirra call. There's also a female call.

On reading all the communications about night calls - seemingly unwelcome too - I realise I am probably hearing a Koel too in the still of the Torrens night.   At a distance which I thought was not good but I am now revising that idea.   It is a two note call about an octave apart - low to  high.  Does that sound right?
