Sorry Joe - I had overlooked your posting, there certainly seem to be a few
so far, last year was a quiet one for rainbow bee-eaters locally.
Of the migrants, the rufous songlark seems to be here in surprising numbers given the much better conditions out west this year. So much so that there was one calling from a street light behind the Bunnings in Tuggeranong (not the lake side) on Saturday afternoon. Jack Holland |
