Oh well, I suppose because Brisbane lacked that
dirty smoggy city/suburb feeling they just seemed to be more pleasant.
Anyway, messages received and understood. As an aside, the same tree used
to be an evening roosting point for maybe 50 Mynas until about 3 yrs
ago. After that, Blackbirds nested successfully there but now appear to
have been displaced. All in all that's probably an undesirable smorgasbord
- maybe that tree has to go!
And in further developments, a white egg shell,
intact but punctured and empty, (since further damaged by inquisitive grand
daughter) has been found on the ground beneath the suspect tree. Not
sure it would be of any use in Mark's collection.

TD spotted while I was working in Campbell yesterday.
