There are also a famous pair of peregrines
that nest on a high rise in the Brisbane CBD. During a nesting a couple of
years ago there was more media attention on them that on many other issues.

Peregrines and people
In the latest Gang-gang it is suggested that peregrines
nesting on cliffs will be disturbed by houses being allowed too close.
There must be some other factor than nearness to humans involved in this since
peregrines breed on a building in Water
St Manhattan (and
others on the Brooklyn
Bridge). Both of
these locales have a level of human activity that even the most rabid ACT
development lobbyist could only fantasise about.
I'm not suggesting that the Molonglo would benefit from the
presence of The Donald but merely that there needs to be a clear statement of
which aspects of human activity actually disrupt the birds activities.
