There was a male rose robin yesterday morning in the casuarinas and
flowering wattles between Cygnus and Bittern hides at Kelly's.

Other spp. included 30+ tree martins with 3 or 4 fairy martins among
them, male golden whistler, rufous whistler singing, 20 double-barred
finches, 1 red-browed finch, 2 dusky wood-swallows, 2 kestrels, 1 little
eagle, yellow-faced HE, white-plumed HE, Australasian grebe. No
pink-eared duck this time. Perhaps they were over on the sewage ponds.
