I wonder if the "Electus Parrots" are actually
politicians requesting a plebiscite. It isn't a unique slip. I have heard
of Eclectus Parrots mistakenly called "Eucalyptus Parrots" and
"Collector's Parrots". Sorry Lindsay.
I have seen a pair in a private aviary once in
Canberra. I don't recall where and it was about 10 to 15 years ago.
