At
least some of them roost on the slopes of Parliament House. I know this from the
security staff who have to leave their heated bunkers to go out under the
flagpole and chase the ibis away. The straw-necked ibis forage on the grassy
floodlit slopes of Parliament House and set off the anti-terrorist security
alarms.
