Yes it's a Brown Quail! Rejoice, all lovers of Lake
Ginninderra peninsula. They are back. Or more probably, we all, including the
faithful quail dog, have merely missed them for a year or so. Roger, PLEASE put
in a record. The peninsula has been such a reliable spot for this species for
many years and their return/resighting is wonderful news. b
