Hi Geoffrey !With your excellent illustration of the mystery parrot it is readily identifiable as being the common Boxheaded Lorikeet with the black head breeding plumage clearly evident.I would think that the all encompassing Garden Survey list, should reveal if it has been seen here before, where, how often and if its likely to seen again in the near future along with the quickest way to get there.
