Hi
all
Great excitement at
the end of a walk in Kowen Forest yesterday.. in the top of pines that finish
alongside the railway line.. a huge owl. I need identification please .. it
had white breast feathers , squat head with short beak, light-dark grey wings
with speckles . Very fat round body and tall in
stature, ( much more than 50cm) .. wingspan around 80cm. Slow flopping
flight to next tree.
Any
ideas?
Chris
