In my 20+ years of patrolling Lake Ginninderra (also with dogs), I've found Red-browed Finches more often than not and quite often the flocks are of a generous size. They are the most numerous finch there, by a long way. The biggest flocks I've seen were pretty much in the middle of the Peninsula, some 100 m se of Rocky Knoll, and where the fox den used to be. b |
