After surmounting Narrabundah Hill in Duffy Desert this morning we ran down the edge of Duffy/Holder.  Perched on the phone wires were at least 68 crested pigeons.  This was the largest congregation of this species I have seen in Canberra. They appeared to be grazing on something in the area where pines used to grow on the S side of Cotter Road.  An incidental report has been compiled.
