The attached EXCEL file shows a summary of the information available from the last 10 years of the GBS about spinebills. I originally prepared this for Benj Whitworth in response to some questions he asked about an apparent decline in spinebills.

The values of A, F and R are as defined in the Annual Bird Report. The index simply sets Year 13 (1993-94) to be 100 and expresses everything else as a percentage of that. It seems that numbers grew until about 4 years ago since when they have declined. I haven't graphed W since it is a flatline at 52 (or Index 100). They've shown up somewhere, every week, each year.
