thanks for your comment - they certainly are an interesting genus, the 
woodswallows!!
 
it looks like i'm not going to be able to put an exact date on my observation 
from home on the beach - I guess it doesn't really matter...
 
thanks for everyone's interest - maybe they will show here at home again today 
in about an hour!!!
