Published sightings for the week ending 2 Feb 2014.

Sun 2 Feb Slender-billed Thornbill Port Wakefield
At least 6 in a flock amongst samphire.

Banded Lapwing Port Wakefield
A pair on the edge of town. Rarely seen now in this area.

Grey Plover Bald Hill beach
A flock of 10 with other waders including turnstones, Curlew Sandpipers, Banded Stilt, sharpies and stints.

Sat 25 Jan Budgerigar, Crested Shrike-tit, Elegant Parrot Aldinga Scrub Conservation Park
Four budgies feeding in long grass near Cox Road. Two or three Crested Shrike-tits seen several times near Cox Road (possibly the same family of birds each time including a begging juvenile). Small flocks of Elegant Parrots seen throughout the eastern end of the park.
