Sat 16 Nov Black-fronted Dotterel, Wood Sandpiper Kaurna Park Wetland
Wood Sandpiper(1) and Black-fronted Dotterel (1) on edges of drying pond in NW corner. First records for site.

Wed 13 Nov Oriental Plover 26 00S 131 10E 10' Cell
Incidental observation & update of numbers previously reported. Oriental Plover (7) Update on the weekend's report - arrived to pick up passengers from charter plane to discover a total of 7 birds all sitting near the southern end of the runway.

Mon 11 Nov Little Woodswallow The Organ Pipes, Mt Ive
A pair nesting in a crevice on the left hand side of the gully. Quite a surprise for me, wasn't expecting this bird at all!

Oriental Plover Leigh Creek Coalmine Water Retention Basin
1 Oriental Plover on shore on the side of the main road. Phone-scoped photo attached

Sat 9 Nov Magpie Goose, Australasian Bittern, White-winged Triller, Common Greenfinch Bool Lagoon
Windy day, lots of water in the lagoon, partly cloudy with intermittent showers. Observations made with Ashley Walker. Magpie Goose 100-200, in multiple locations including one large flock overhead. Australasian Bittern (1) Flushed from reeds at the end of Big Hill White-winged Triller (1) Male in breeding plumage, along the Tea Tree boardwalk. Common Greenfinch Small flock of 4-5 birds feeding on grass with Yellow-rumped Thornbills just after turnoff for Hack's Lagoon.
