 Hello fellow birders

>From 8 - 8.45 am watched mixed group of Australian Swiftlets and Fork-tailed
>Swifts circling, feeding and
flying north in waves of about 50 till the groups got smaller and towards the
end about 4 White-throated
Needletails were seen. Estimated total: 1500, 2/3 being Australian Swiftlets
and 1/3 Fork-tailed Swifts.

Also surprised by a flock of approx 50 Budgerigars flying south. Very unusual
for this area - although
groups have been seen in Towwnsville and surrounds recently.
Rosemary Payet, Joan Wharton.
