Sat 13 Oct	Common Sandpiper Cleveland Beside the N Stradbroke water taxi terminal on the mud and concrete slipway. Colin Reid
	Pacific Golden Plover Kedron Brook Wetlands Bird was seen foraging on the drying lagoon. Chris Martinez
Fri 12 Oct	White-throated Needletail Highland Park, Nerang 100+ moved west over the garden in a single loose flock this afternoon. Michael McNaghten
	Black-faced Monarch Taringa An adult Black-faced Monarch Flew into window of building at 1 Swann Road, Taringa. Kurtis Lindsay
Thu 11 Oct	Russet-tailed Thrush, Noisy Pitta Bellsthorpe NP, near Woodford A Russet-tailed Thrush was observed in the day area carpark, on dusk. Also a Noisy Pitta was heard, between the entrance road and Stanley Creek. John & Kathy Harris - Wildlife Experiences
	Marbled Frogmouth Mary Cairncross Park, near Maleny Marbled Frogmouth heard calling, from inside MC Park, while we were spotlighting for mammals nearby. Mammals seen were Red-legged Pademelon, Short-eared Possum, Long-nosed Bandicoot and Bush Rat. John & Kathy Harris - Wildlife Experiences
	Grass Owl, Yellow-billed Spoonbill Kedron Wetlands. One possibly two Grass Owl seen at 6.15 and 6.20 pm. Single Yellow-billed Spoonbill still present. Nick Leseberg, Michael McNaghten.
	Pink-eared Duck, Blue-billed Duck, Baillon's Crake, Little Grassbird Gatton Uni campus lake. Good numbers of Pink-eared Ducks and at least two female Blue-billed Duck. Single Baillon's Crake and Little Grassbird seen. Nick Leserberg, Michael McNaghten.
	Australian Painted Snipe, Cotton Pygmy-goose Rosewood Lagoon Two birds seen today, both giving good scope views and remained on view the entire time we were there. Two Cotton Pygmy-goose among common waterfowl. Nick Leseberg, Michael McNaghten.
	Pale-vented Bush-hen Kalinga Park, Clayfield Two birds heard, one seen very well. Nick Leseberg, Michael McNaghten.
	White-throated Needletail Griffin Ten over early am. My first of the season. Andy Jensen
Wed 10 Oct	Beach Stone-curlew Dunwich North Stradbroke Island Qld One Beach Stone-curlew feeding at low tide near the ferry terminal John Dennison
Tue 9 Oct	Black Necked Stork Ewan Maddock Dam Female observed at 4.30 PM Tim siggs
	Wandering Tattler, Osprey Alexandra Headlands 5 Wandering Tattlers were seen and photographed this afternoon on the rocks of Alexandra headlands. They were reasonably relaxed and lounge close observation, even though a number of dogs where about (Photos taken). Also an Osprey was seen flying overhead, being harassed by Magpie Larks and Torresian Crows at different times. John & Kathy Harris - Wildlife Experiences
	Baillon's Crake Emerald Lakes, Carrara 13+ today on the small roadside lake, another conservative total (10 counted yesterday). Number of wildfowl species and numbers slowly increasing now. Michael McNaghten
Mon 8 Oct	Black-fronted Dotterel Moggill Road Wetland, Moggill Black-fronted Dotterel (6) Photos taken. Barbara & Brian O'Connor
Mon 8 Oct	Spectacled Monarch, Shining Bronze-Cuckoo, Lt Shrike-thrush Mapleton Falls NP, near Mapleton These birds were the highlights of a late afternoon walk around the Wompoo circuit. Other birds included Bell Miner (heard), Channel-billed Cuckoo and Pale Yellow Robin. John & Kathy Harris - Wildlife Experiences
	Cicadabird, Logrunner, Australian Owlet-Nightjar Kondalilla Falls NP, near Flaxton These birds were the highlights of a half day walk around the Kondalilla Falls circuit and spotlighting along the Picnic Creek circuit.j John & Kathy Harris - Wildlife Experiences
	Noisy Pitta, Green Catbird Mary Cairncross Park, near Maleny Noisy Pitta and Green Catbird were the highlights of a morning walk around MC Park. Brown Cuckoo Doves also very obliging as the fed on the track only a couple of metres away from us. John & Kathy Harris - Wildlife Experiences
Sun 7 Oct	Pale-vented Bush-hen Kalinga Park, Clayfield One bird seen well around 8am, calling persistently from the creek bank opposite the playground. Two stone-curlews near the playground also, and a Pacific Baza flying over near the eastern end of the park. Nick Leseberg
