Rock Parrot
Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse , Western Australia
Seven birds seen on the lawns of the Cape Leeuwin lighthouse grounds near Augusta, feeding, and nor too worried about humans. I was told they are regulary seen at this location. I spent some time on the ground taking a number of close up's only to later realise - no memory card in the camera (not happy!!). Sorry, no photo.

A single bird landed on the vegetated median strip between two carriegeways. No photo (driving)

Carnaby's Black-Cockatoo
Beside Kwinana Freeway, 2km from Ankatel Rd (heading south), Western Australia
Around 20 birds seen on a single tree by the freeway. Some kind of construction site on the other side of the fence, being cleared. No photo, I was driving.
