Location: Strzelecki Regional Reserve
Eyrean Grasswren (Amytornis goyderi) (10+) Observed in separate groups on 5 
dunes dominated by cane grass - all observed close to the track. Not observed 
on dunes dominated by other species, such as Crotalaria sp. (Rattlepods).
Banded Whiteface (Aphelocephala nigricincta) (2+) Observed on the base of a 
dune. Others heard. Also seen further north outside the reserve.
Full species list pending - -25 species observed during quick visit for veg 
survey (no real time for birding unfortunately!). Note access is restricted due 
to oil and gas production.

Location: Mt Hopeless to Balcanoona Rd
Australian Bustard (Ardeotis australis) (3) Observed on Wooltana Station near 
intersection of the road and a creek - more precise location information 
collected.
Inland Dotterel (Charadrius australis) (3) On side of the track near Mt 
Hopeless.
Pied Honeyeater (Certhionyx variegatus) (1) Observed flying around flowering 
Eremophila duttonii.

Banded Stilt (Cladorhynchus leucocephalus) (1) approximately 400 Banded Stilts 
on the water on your left as you enter Port Augusta.
