Location: Aldinga Beach foreshore
Hooded Plover (Thinornis rubricollis) (6) Feeding on the incoming tide at
Aldinga Beach foreshore near Wurlie Street (off the Esplanade). A friend who
regularly walks here says she often sees them. Two adults, four juveniles. I
watched for 15 minutes, then they were chased by a dog and flew away
