A single bird feeding along a gravel track to the Back Beach at Bremer Bay. An ID photo was taken. In 2008 the species was also present at this location.

Fairy Tern, Pacific Golden Plover
Gordon Inlet, northeast of Bremer Bay, Western Australia
Fairy Terns (>10) including nesting pairs. Nests located amidst fresh 4wd tracks across sandbar of inlet. Concerns about survival of eggs. Much larger numbers of Crested Terns and several Caspian Terns present but no sign of nesting. Pacific Golden Plover (6) seen, along with many Red-necked Stints, Sanderlings and Red-capped Plovers. No sign of Hooded Plover.

Located and photographed a Broad-billed Sandpiper amongst 400 Red-necked Stints at Lake McLarty today.

One Pectoral Sandpiper, three Black-tailed Godwits and eight Glossy Ibis were highlights of visit to Lake McLarty.
